The Israelite Child & Pagan Holidays

The Israelite Child & Pagan Holidays

Topic: How to keep my child focused during the pagan celebrations and customs of the land?

Proverbs 22 vs. 11 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it

There are certain times of year before the air even gets remotely chilly, that the media campaign around the world has begun their brainwashing techniques to seduce our children and analyze shopping and buying behaviors from a very young age. The onslaught of advertising has been months and years in the making all to reach into the minds of children and in turn, many businesses and corporations reach into the pockets of those children’s’ parents and loved ones. So-called blacks & Latinos consist of a huge part of this spending into the billions of dollars….but are unable to provide or produce this same type of wealth or job opportunities within their own community. We have been at the forefront of the world’s economy since we were sold on the docks of Wall Street 400 years ago. Although some of us are working on that very street, we are yet spiritually still in bondage as we spend our last dollar on anything from A –Z.

Deut 28 vs. 48

“Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.”

Every year, merchants push their goods earlier and earlier….years ago you didn’t see this type of greed and blatant assault on the consumer. So as you navigate thru stores, grocery aisles and thru the television commercials and advertising you MUST explain to your children that these things are NOT of God.

Birthdays, Mothers’ Day & Fathers’ Day….Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas……bunny rabbits don’t laying eggs for Easter and are all pagan celebrations!!

For further details, videos and in depth study, please visit www.israelunite.org regarding these topics. These various videos will describe in detail the history and origin of these pagan holidays and the spiritual consequences of our failure to keep the laws of God, and the impact it has on our people.

The following are tips and suggestions to help you and your family…..

First and foremost you as a parent must reinforce the scriptures with them to build their faith so that they are able to resist any temptation that comes, along with being the primary mediator for them in the midst of unbelievers. Set the ground rules with everyone upfront. Tell those that ask, simply “No, thank you” “We don’t celebrate that “and explain as needed.

Your repentant child should not be accepting birthday party invitations, cards or participating in these events at school either…..nor should they be eating any cake that is offered as well….you can also ask to be notified in advance of any school activities and parties so that your child can be excused….Nor should they be accepting gifts from aunt whoever, and grandma know it all. If a family member wants to offer your child a gift, they don’t have to wait for that “special” day…..and make sure to let you kids know if anyone is offering them a gift, and tells them that’s what it’s for….NOT to take it!!!

  • Jeremiah 44 vs. 15 “then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying, As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the Lord, we will not hearken unto thee.”
  • Ephesians 6 vs. 1 – 3 “Children obey your parents in the Lord; for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise. That it be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.”
  • Exodus 20 vs. 12Honour thy father and thy mother; that thy days may be long upon the earth which the Lord thy God giveth thee.”

Every day is father and mother’s day!!! This world is so backwards…..Don’t make cards or notes with this man-made holiday; no need to send me special flowers just because a day on a calendar is marked to remind you not to forget your mother. Children should be taught to do that every day on ANY day to show their parents that they love them.

  • Apocrypha: The Book of Sirach Chapter 3 vs.1-2Hear me your father, O children, and do thereafter, that ye may be safe. For the Lord hath given the father honour over the children, and hath confirmed the authority of the mother over the sons.”

No Easter egg hunts, no jelly beans….rabbits to not lay eggs and the Easter bunny is not real. Depending on the calendar, based on the cycle of the moon……Passover, one of our Lords High Holy days is around this time…that’s what you should have your child focusing on. There are many movies and cartoons that depict our people coming out of bondage in Egypt; you can read scripture along with them and let them know….We are the children of the book.

  •  Exodus 13 vs. 14-15 “And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the Lord brought us out from Egypt from the house of bondage; And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the Lord slew all the first born of man, and the firstborn of beast; therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.”

I have always hated this day since I was a little girl…something was just not right. It promotes evil and witchcraft. Your son or daughter can’t wear a costume….no matter how cute it looks. “Aww…. It’s just for the kid’s right?” Totally wrong. These tricks are not for our kids. Some public schools have career day on this day and encourage kids to dress up with the deception that it’s really not for Halloween…..same thing don’t fall for it! Some schools also have parades and encourage trick or treating and bringing in candy just within the vicinity of the school or the school itself. Your child cannot partake whatsoever. Definitely don’t eat the candy….even after the wicked celebration is over and it all goes on sale….don’t purchase it so you do not send the wrong message. If you can…excuse your child from school on that day and make up the work. Growing up in the 70’s and 80’s there was egg throwing, water balloons with bleach inside, mass fighting, shaving cream mixed with lye….razor blades in apples, etc….imagine what modern day demons are doing in and out of costume. Can you believe that during these last days there are still people who still go trick or treating? My kids and I stay inside before dark, read the scripts, then cut the lights off and ignore the doorbell for the rest of the night.

Ephesians 5 vs. 6-8let no man deceive you with vain words; for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience, Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord; walk as children of light.”

We all love a good meal….but we are not to celebrate this holiday. Do not get seduced into the thought that it is only food. Our forefathers and fore mothers were slaughtered for their land and in ignorance many of our people celebrate pure evil and spit on the spilled blood that screams throughout this land. Once again…do not accept dinner invitations, do not eat the leftovers at house or at work or the special holiday meal at school. Do not allow your child to participate in any cowboy and Indian scenarios at school…it’s a mockery and a shame to our ancestors.

Deuteronomy 18 vs. 9thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.”

We have the honor of having feast days all throughout the entire year. Years ago my sister was constantly like….”you should come and get dressed up so we can go over Aunt Bucks house and celebrate?” My father recently said “All ya’ll do is read scriptures, celebrate the same high holy days, eat and praise God”…..”Daddy…..that’s what we are supposed to be doing”…lol

What does this worldly day have over us? Absolutely nothing!!! The Feast of Tabernacles is just one of many beautiful examples…..Celebrating the harvests of the land, and acknowledging the Creator and his laws in obedience and joyfully doing them….All Praises for his mercy.

Apocrypha: The Book of Esther Chapter 14 vs. 5  “from my youth up I have heard in the tribe of my family, that thou, O Lord, tookest Israel from among all people, and our fathers from all their predecessors, for a perpetual inheritance, and thou hast performed whatsoever thou didst promise them.”

Jeremiah 10 vs. 2-4Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.  For the customs of the people are vain; for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the workman, with the axe.  They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.”

When my oldest son was in kindergarten, we got called up by the principal because he told all the kids, Christmas was a lie and that Santa Claus was the devil!!! Now we laughed a good laugh, but this is one of the most satanic holidays known to man. No…. grandma cannot take the kids to the mall to take holiday pictures….no holiday gift exchange or Secret Santa at school or work….no Christmas plays or musicals or concerts no toy drives or holiday parties…..no Christmas tree because you feel bad and the kids are crying for gifts, no special candy or mistletoe. I have to prescreen everything on television before my youngest son watches, but even more so during the months between October and December….one of the first things he learned to say when he was around two years old as “no Christmas ” or ” Christmas bad”. Best case scenario, cut the media off on all levels, including the radio…it feeds a covetous spirit and those holiday songs are all programmed to stick in a child’s memory forever.

During this time of the year, is The Feast of Dedication gifts can be exchanged if you like, your children need to be able to understand and acknowledge the difference between what the ungodly celebrate and what we as repentant Israel celebrate in the faith of Christ.

Children often covet items that other children have and are always on the lookout for more it’s just their nature. We do not want our special children to feel like they have been given the short end of the stick and that somehow the worldly disobedient children are the ones being rewarded. Even young children have a spiritual walk. Acknowledge them for their good deeds and reward them with gifts. Gifts don’t always involve spending money so get creative! Give on new moons, feast days or simply just because it may be just the pick me up they need.

Proverbs 20 vs. 11Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.”

For more information on the Lords’ High Holy days, Feasts and New Moons please go to www.israelunite.org for further information and clarification.

During New Moons, feast days and High Holy Days consider the following:

[pink-flower]
  • Decorations are a MUST, balloons, streamers, banners, etc.
  • Cakes, cupcakes and/or a big sheet cake
  • Candies or bag of fruit
  • Toys age and gender specific
  • Gift cards for older kids
  • Clothing and/or music
  • Crayons and coloring books
  • Know what your child likes, but don’t feel bad if you cannot give them a gift because you support them all year long.

I pray this helps,

Shalom
