Fired, Funny, Fit, Forever Fabulous & Finally Free!!!
Apocrypha: The Book of Sirach Chapter 2 vs 1-5
My son, if thou come to serve the Lord, prepare thy soul for temptation. Set thy heart aright, and constantly endure, and make not haste in time of trouble. Cleave unto him, and depart not away, that thou mayest be increased at thy last end. Whatsoever is brought upon thee take cheerfully, and be patient when thou art changed to a low estate. For gold is tried in the fire, and acceptable men in the furnace of adversity.
[clear/]Currently, I am attempting to home school my toddler and today’s’ lesson plan included a space rocket test where the rocket ship needs to bomb and destroy asteroids with certain letters attached to them.
What have been some of my asteroids and stumbling blocks ?
As my son Noah aims to shoot the letter of the day is (F). We discuss fruit, frogs, fish, faces, and family. So I came up with a few of my own (“F”) bombs and I’m having a blast !!!
[one-third] [image src=”http://www.staging-mar252018.thedaughtersofsarah.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/you-are-fired.jpg” class=”-img border”/] [/one-third]F is for Fired. Over my many years in the work force I’ve gotten fired or been forced to quit at least five times (work testimonies to come later lol) and each time I moved on to bigger and better things. In this current economic climate its’ more common place than we would like to think but for many including myself it is often the much imagined pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Raised to be a workaholic from youth rarely have I ever been without a means to support myself and not be financially independent. Time for a wake up call. The last time was such a relief because I knew exactly why I was being let go, office politics aside, and accepted my personal message from the Most High which was the following:
- Rely on your husband. He is the head of the house; be an example.
- Stop breaking the Sabbath; be an example.
- Study harder and build your faith; be an example.
- Nothing and no one is worth losing your spiritual salvation; be an example.
I have taken issues to court and won. Lawyers have said I could sue and get my job back, but you know what it’s not even worth it. I have the Almighty judge on my side and in his time I will receive the ultimate paycheck. When the next job offer came I could decline it no matter how much the temptation. My daughter was like, “Work where? I don’t think so mommy.” My kids enjoy me being at home and I have become a much better wife and mother. The weight that has come off my shoulders is a wonderful feeling.
[star]- 1 Timothy 4 vs 12-13 “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.”
- 1 Corinthians 11 vs 2-3 “Now I praise you brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordiances, as I delivered them to you. But I would have know that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.”
- 1 John 5 vs 3 “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments; and that his commandments are not grievous.”
- 2 Timothy 2 vs 15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
James 1 vs 12-16
“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation; for when he is tried, he shall recieve the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed. Then when the lust hath concieved, it bringeth forth sin, and sin when it is finished bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren.”

F is for funny. Have you ever sat back and looked at your life and wondered why and how did certain things happen? How about the people that come in and out of your life for a season? I have fully and humbly accepted the Lord has a sense of humor. Whatever your personal struggle is whether it be bad relationships, work, children, pride, or money you must ACKNOWLEDGE the lesson and learn from it or the lesson will continue and repeat its self over and over in your life to become this never ending cycle of despair. There is no one to blame but yourself. There is no running away or hiding from it because he sees you! If you refuse, you will be stuck in the same place (so sad and so yesterday). Only when YOU decide you’re getting tired of hitting the replay button will you be able to move on. This is true for anyone who is stuck in a place they think they can’t get out of or if they are blaming their issues on other people.
We can each be our own worst enemy or biggest cheerleader (hysterically laughing right now).
Apocrypha: The Book of Sirach Chapter 30 vs 22-23
“The gladness of the heart is the life of man and the joyfulness of a man prolongeth his days. Love thine own soul and comfort thy heart, remove sorrow far from thee; for sorrow hath killed many and there is no profit therein.”

F is for fit. Taking time to take care of your mind and body is important. From the inside outbfeed yourself well. Nutritionally and scriptually speaking be aware of what you allow in your body and spirit. I am still learning to take better care of me…I was forced to do it. Sometimes thats what it takes and I am in the best physical shape since my late thirties and have rejuvenated my faith and fitness in our Heavenly father and his son the Christ.
1 Timothy 4 vs 8
“For bodily excercise profiteth little; but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.”

F is for fabulous. When I bumped into a neighbor at Target and told her I wasn’t working she was like, “As hard as you have worked the Lords’ giving you a break. You will always be forever fabulous so enjoy your vacation.” I was taken by surprise because so many people from my husband, parents, children, friends, former colleagues and spiritual sisters were like all praises it’s about time you sit down somewhere.
My full-time job is to be an obedient servant of the Most high first and foremost and as long as I or any other repentant sister acknowledge that we will always be forever fabulous in the Fathers’ eyes.
Proverbs 31 vs 30
“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall praised.”
Amen.
[one-third] [image src=”http://www.staging-mar252018.thedaughtersofsarah.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/freedom.jpg” class=”-img border”/] [/one-third]F is for finally free. Finally free from any guilt or shame I’ve moved on confessing my faults to be redeemed through our Savior by setting the example and living the dream for my Fathers’ purpose. Live your own dream according to the scriptures because your own walk is good enough. You don’t need to imitate or ride the backs of others so put your big girl shoes on and get to stepping! Breaking from spiritual bondage and strongholds can be difficult, but anything worth having is also worth fighting for. Work on you so you can be fit for the battle and be finally free!
[star]- Apocrypha: The Book of Sirach Chapter 4 vs 21-22 “For there is a shame that bringeth sin:and there is a shame which is glory and grace. A ccept no person against thy soul, and let not the reverence of any man cause thee to fall.”
- 2 Corinthians10 vs 3-6 “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh; ( For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”
